DFM Rules That Make 2K “Just Work”

  • Interface geometry: use undercuts, windows, and wrap-around ribs to add mechanical lock; avoid razor-thin bond lines (<0.4 mm for most TPEs).

  • Wall planning: keep uniform sections; ribs ≈ 40–60% of wall; relieve bosses on the soft side to avoid sink.

  • Draft: hard shot per normal rules; soft shot can accept more draft; protect A-surfaces from ejector scuff in both stages.
